About me
Dr. Bill Willis is an elementary school principal with the Oceanside Unified School District. Prior to joining Oceanside Unified, he served as a principal in Chula Vista, CA. Prior to that he worked as an Assistant Principal and teacher in Texas. His experiences as an LGBTQ+ child shaped who he is and what defines his “Why”. He has been an educator for 17 years and an administrator for 8 years. As an administrator, he works with teachers to increase student engagement, remove obstacles that inhibit safe and welcoming learning environments, and to create equity-driven educational experiences for his students.
