About me
Natalie Spevak is the newly appointed Director, Educator Workforce at the Santa Barbara County Office of Education. She is currently an Assistant Principal at Santa Barbara High School. Over the last 18 years, Natalie has worked in public education as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal. She has extensive training and experience in restorative practices, cognitive coaching, and trauma-informed care. Natalie is recognized as an innovative, collaborative, and dynamic leader, driven by a deep commitment to and inspiration from public service leadership. Her passion for music enriches her creativity, amplifying her ability to approach challenges strategically and holistically. Natalie enjoys spending time with her husband and two school-aged children engaged in theatre and baseball activities, is active in the LGBTQ+ community, and loves running and yoga.
