2025 ACSA Lead With Pride Summit

Currently, the Director of Federal & State Programs, Ms. MacLean has extensive experience creating systems to increase equity and access for students at every tier and every domain. Before this position, Ms. MacLean was the Coordinator of Counseling Programs for PVUSD, where she built a continuum of care with community partners and the multi-tiers of social-emotional support offered throughout the district. She also led the district efforts in building Wellness Centers at multiple schools, ensuring students feel a sense of belonging, stay connected to school, and embrace their learning. Ms. MacLean also supported the implementation of the innovative Pajaro Valley Unified School District Family Engagement & Wellness Center, where families have access to a food co-op, multiple partners, Healthy Start, a full-time mental health clinician, parent meetings, and more, into the evenings and Saturdays. Throughout each of these roles she has also led the district efforts to increase LGBTQIA+ inclusivity and safety. Lockstep with California initiatives to improve student well-being, Ms. MacLean is a firm believer that schools are a place of healing and we do not have any time to waste!
