About me
Amanda Montemayor is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources at Newhall School District since 2020. Amanda has held multiple roles within the district, including Director of HR, Principal, Assistant Principal, General and Special Education Teacher. Prior to joining Newhall School District, Amanda worked as an Elementary School Teacher at Lake Elsinore Unified School District and Newhall School District. Amanda is a doctoral student at University of La Verne, and holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, along with several credentials from the University of La Verne, including an Administrative Service Credential and an Education Specialist Credential. Amanda also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from California State University San Marcos, where a General Education Teaching Credential was obtained.
